Thank you for your interest in joining the Heights Garden Society community garden!
We have a long waitlist and it may be several years before you are offered a plot. Our waitlist is first-come, first-served, with plots assigned each spring as they come available. When you are offered a plot you will receive an application form to fill out followed by an interview with one of our volunteer board members.
We are a very active garden requiring participation from all members in our monthly work parties and annual fundraising events. Garden members should expect to spend 5–10 hours per week during the growing season on garden activities such as: planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and looking after common areas.
We welcome you to participate in one of our work parties as announced on the white board located on the north side of our garden shed, and on our events calendar. We strive to keep our work parties fun and rewarding to all who participate.
